Al Amal Microfinance Bank and Reyadah Foundation participate in “Climate for Microfinance Institutions” workshop, which was held on Monday, May 13, on the sidelines of Sanabel annual conference, which will be held in Jordan – Dead Sea during May 14 – 15, 2024.
The Climate Workshop for Microfinance Institutions aims to provide an overview of climate finance and share lessons learned from launching climate products with MFIs across the region. It will provide practical insights to participants on the catalyst role MFIs can play in supporting climate resilience and the energy transition of its clients and foster a better understanding of climate definitions and how best to integrate climate into microfinance strategy, operations, products, and offerings. Participants will also have the opportunity to hear first-hand from MFIs about the challenges and opportunities of Climate Financing through the presentation of practical case studies.
