AMB participates in the first WSBI meeting of the Agent Banking – Financial Inclusion Working Group.
Al-Amal Microfinance Bank’s (AMB’s) CEO Participates in the First World Savings & Retail Banking Institute (WSBI) where Mr. Mohammed Al-Lai presents a presentation on AMB’s experience in providing banking services through its agent network, which included AMB’s mechanism in building its agent network according to accurate financial and institutional selection criteria as well as enhancing their capabilities through training programs in AMB’s services and compliance standards with AML & CFT Policies And Procedures, in addition to other topics related to the agent network management in terms of AMB systems & Apps. used by its agents and issues of liquidity management and enhancing the profitability of the agents as well.
The World Savings and Retail Banking Institute (WSBI) is an international banking association. It currently brings together 100 members from 80 countries worldwide, including almost 6,760 banks, and was rooted in 1924 aiming at achieving sustainable, inclusive, and balanced growth and job creation via supporting a variety of financial services to meet clients’ needs, and it supports international efforts to enhance financial access and use for the mostly in need groups for financial services as well.
