Born in 1984 and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and banking from Dhamar University, Mr. Ghulais joined AMB in 2009 and has been serving with the Bank since. He has so far held various positions, including an AMB branch manager in Sana’a, Ibb, Taiz and Aden. He also served as AMB Second Area Manager; the area includes AMB branches in the governorates of Ibb, Taiz, Aden and Hadramaut. Afterwards, he was appointed Officer of Liquidity Section in AMB Head Office, and then Assistant Manager of Banking Services. In early 2021, he was appointed Banking Services Manager. Throughout his employment history, Ghulais managed a number of AMB projects in different governorates and contributed to the development of many products and banking services. He also contributed to developing a series of operational manuals and policies for the Bank. Moreover, he took part in a number of training workshops organized by local and international houses of expertise, and attended many other conferences and workshops in and outside the country. These events primarily focused on project management and product development in microfinance and banking services.
