Mr. Nasser Al-Qahtani participates in the launching ceremony of the Arab Blog for Sustainable Development

Mr. Nasser bin Bakr Al-Qahtani, Member of the Board of Directors of Al-Amal Microfinance Bank and Executive Director of the Arab Gulf Program for Development “AGFUND”, participated in the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in the launching ceremony of the “Arab Blog for Sustainable Development: A System of Values, Behaviors and Skills”.

The blog, which was launched in the framework of a partnership between the League of Arab States, the Arab Network for NGOs and the Arab Gulf Program for Development, aims to enable Arab civil society organizations to communicate, interact and build channels and mechanisms to share and enhance their knowledge and expertise, in addition to removing confusion and ambiguity about the concept and philosophy of sustainable development.

It also aims to enhance the capacity of organizations in the field of influencing policy-making, decisions and programs targeting the most marginalized groups.

It also aims to crystallize an integrated system of human, behavioral and skill values ​​that control the development process in order to bear its fruits in a sustainable manner, by providing a comprehensive and adequate critical reading of this modern development model, which represents the general framework governing the United Nations sustainable development agenda 2030.

The partnership of AGFUND and the network aims to produce this qualitative product that bridges the knowledge gap in the civil society sector and is compatible with the sustainable development goals.
